OsteoHub was established in November 2023 — initially just principal osteopath Sam Webborn and a sports therapist, working from the medical room at The Underhill Hub. In December 2024 the clinic itself opened on Newton Road.
Sam has been an osteopath in private practice since 2015 and always wanted a multidisciplinary clinic where practitioners could inter-refer. The larger premises, with three treatment rooms, made that possible. Today the team is nine independent practitioners offering a wide range of services across six days.
We aim to be the primary alternative healthcare provider in Mumbles, delivering affordable, accessible support for the local community, businesses and sports teams.

From a private osteopathic practice to a growing multidisciplinary clinic, OsteoHub has continued to evolve around the needs of the local community.
Sam Webborn begins private osteopathic practice and joins the medical team at Swansea City FC as specialist osteopath consultant.

Sam has worked with Swansea City FC since the 2015/16 season as a specialist osteopath consultant, alongside the club’s medical team. He’s at the training ground most weeks, treating players referred by the head physio as well as those he sees regularly for maintenance.
Working within a professional sports medical team keeps Sam’s practice sharp, gives him regular exposure to high-level rehabilitation and performance environments, and provides insight that carries directly back into his clinical work. In private practice, he treats people of all ages, most commonly for back pain, neck pain, headaches and acute sports injuries.
